A Year in Review: 2025 at Bristol Twenty

What an incredible year it’s been at Bristol Twenty!

2025 has been an incredible year for Bristol Twenty! From visiting new places like Tanzania and Geneva, to meeting new faces and welcoming more customers, it’s been full of exciting moments. We’ve expanded production across the UK and added even more equipment. And through it all, the Bristol Twenty community has continued to grow. Here’s a look back at the highlights from the year!

World of Coffee in Geneva

One of the standout moments of 2025 for Bristol Twenty was travelling to Geneva for the World of Coffee. Hosted by the Speciality Coffee Association, this global event brings together producers, roasters, innovators, and industry leaders to explore what’s next in coffee.

We spent the week catching up with suppliers and customers, joining insightful sessions on trends, technology, and sustainability, discovering new products and ideas and, of course, tasting some delicious coffees. It left us feeling inspired about what Bristol Twenty can bring into 2026.

Rory’s Highlight: Tanzania

Rory’s first-ever trip to Tanzania was his personal highlight of the year.

We visited remarkable farms, including Ngila Coffee Estate and Edelweiss, both nestled in the highlands near the Ngorongoro Crater. Seeing where great coffee begins. From the land to the people to the farming traditions, it was a firsthand reminder of how much care and craft goes into every bean we roast at Bristol Twenty.

The trip offered a deeper look at sustainable farming practices, conservation efforts shaping coffee production and the communities behind some of the world’s finest coffees. Unforgettable, grounding, and full of respect for the growers who make everything we do possible.

AFCA Conference in Dar es Salaam

While in Tanzania, we also made our way to Dar es Salaam for the AFCA Conference, Africa’s largest coffee trade event, bringing together over 2,000 coffee professionals. This year’s theme, Value Regeneration, opened up inspiring conversations about the future of African coffee.

It was a brilliant opportunity to meet existing producers in person, connect with new ones and strengthen relationships across East Africa. Trips like these are a huge part of how Bristol Twenty stays rooted in quality and community, and how we keep growing responsibly.

Celebrating the People Behind Every Cup

At Bristol Twenty, coffee has never been just about the drink. It’s about the people and places behind it, the growers, the families, the communities, and the sustainable practices that protect coffee’s future.

Every origin we work with, every relationship we build, and every coffee we share is part of that bigger picture.

That’s something 2025 has reinforced more than ever.

UK Coffee Week & Project Waterfall

We were proud to celebrate UK Coffee Week, a nationwide celebration of coffee culture and a fundraising initiative that supports coffee-growing communities worldwide. This year, Bristol Twenty stood alongside Project Waterfall, helping fund clean water, sanitation, and education in coffee communities around the globe.

For every one of our award-winning bundles sold, we donated £2 directly to Project Waterfall.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who bought a bundle, shared the message, and helped turn a coffee celebration into real impact.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we step into 2026, Rory, Kate, and Chris are already shaping what comes next for Bristol Twenty.

The goals they’re setting for the year ahead are focused and exciting:

  • Exploring new origins and building new producer relationships

  • Enhancing the customer experience at every touchpoint

  • Growing our sustainability efforts across the board

  • Continuing to strengthen the Bristol Twenty community

We’re heading into the new year with big energy, clear direction, and a whole lot of gratitude for everyone who has been part of this journey.

Thank you for Being Part of 2025

To every customer, partner, producer, and supporter: thank you. You’ve helped make 2025 our biggest year yet at Bristol Twenty, and we can’t wait to share what’s next. Here’s to more travel, more community, more coffees, and more impact in 2026.
