A new year always brings fresh energy, and at Bristol Twenty Coffee, 2026 is already shaping up to be a big one. We’re stepping into the year with clear goals, exciting trips on the horizon, and a renewed focus on the things that matter most to us: incredible coffee, stronger relationships at origin, better experiences for our customers, and real progress on sustainability. Here’s what I’m most excited about as we push Bristol Twenty forward in 2026.
Chasing New Origins & New Flavours
One of the best parts of what we do is that coffee never stands still, and neither should we. This year, we’re setting our sights on exploring new origins and deepening relationships with the producers we already work with. That means, discovering coffees that surprise and inspire us, bringing new seasonal flavour profiles and continuing to celebrate the people behind every cup.
A Big Step Toward Carbon Neutral
2026 brings us one step closer to our long-term goal: becoming carbon neutral. We’re proud to be partnering with Recycoal, a company working directly with farmers and producers to transform harvest waste into biochar. Biochar is an innovative method that captures up to 50% more carbon than traditional farming practices, helping reduce emissions right at origin while supporting regenerative farming communities.
This partnership is a meaningful move forward for Bristol Twenty Coffee, one that aligns with our belief that quality coffee and responsibility should always go hand in hand.
Expand our Coffee Equipment Offering
We’re also planning to expand our equipment offering in 2026.

Trip to Africa
We are excited to be heading back to Africa in February. We’re off to Ethiopia for the Africa Fine Coffee Conference, ready to connect with industry leaders and dive into some of the world’s most exciting coffees.
While we’re there, we’ll also be visiting farms, meeting new producers, strengthening relationships across the origin and learning more about the communities behind the coffees we love. Trips like this are a reminder of why we do what we do, and they always come back with us in the form of better coffees and stronger partnerships.
Keeping Sustainability Front and Centre
We’re not treating sustainability like a single project. In 2026, it stays part of everything we do—from sourcing and packaging to waste reduction and the partnerships we choose. Whether it’s biochar initiatives at origin or smarter operations at home, we’re committed to moving in the right direction, even when it takes extra work.
